The author is a miracle worker. I have feel a real different in myself after reading the book. I am no longer worrying about my life and am really focusing, on the power of my thoughts and the spoken word. I am now more aware of my ability and control of how to do this and I am enlightened that I do not have to be a victim to my circumstances any longer. I can take back my power and recreate my circumstances for the better.I also feel empowered and have a new understanding about the bible and its teachings. Prior to this, I had a very disorted understanding(due to religious teachings and influence as a child) and felt so alone and fustrated. Now I feel that Gods glory and power is within me and I feel in harmony, and confident and lighter. I realise that I need to keep the readings up in the book, and I am prepared to do whatever I need to do to keep me feeling the way I do. Thank you again Florence. I finally feel like a women with dignity, honour and grace.I recommend this to anyone.
In the same vein as Ernest Holmes, Mary Baker Eddy, R.W. Emerson, William James and others, Ms. Shinn offers sage and practical advice on a wide range of topics common to all people. She is especially astute when it comes to prescribing ways of nurturingrelationships. Her work has a Christian emphasis, invoking the words of Christ to make a point. Yet she tempers the religiosity withvery real daily challenges that rely on universal qualities of compassion, love and understanding. She offers some good advice on money matters: how to gain wealth and hold on to it. Well-written by one whose soul and love shine throughout.
I enjoyed this book because it empowered me in showing me how my word can attract as well as change situations and emotions. We ask in prayer 'Just say the word, and my soul will be healed..." Get into the habit of saying words or thoughts that banish feelings of black, fear,poor health (the negatives) always remembering that "in the infinity of life where you are, all is perfect, whole and complete". Think it, say it, believe it! It is an added bonus to coin her writing in the context that the Bible "talks of thoughts and states of consciousness". This encourages new ways of seeing the Bible with more understanding.
She gives you what you need to do your own manifesting! Check out page 29, second paragraph. I share this with everyone to assist them in getting all of their desires fulfilled. Coming from a place of Source.
If I could have only one book this is the one I would choose. This book has everything you need to change your life and it has many examples of situations where following her ideas has worked for others. Florence was a spiritual person who believed God wants us to be happy and her books are so easy to read. You will love the happy happy feelings you get from the book . I listen to this book often on speech to text on my KIndle as I sleep, I wake up happy and full of hope for the future.
